APPLY ONLINE: General Nurses & Midwifery (GNM) 2017-18 (Complete Process, Eligibility, etc)

Directorate of Nursing invites online application for the Admission into 2 year General Nurses & Midwifery (GNM)/ H.W. (F) -- Courses in Odisha During the session 2017-18 in the Government and Private Nursing Training Institute recognized by National Nursing Council (NIC).

 Interested Female candidates should apply online from 10.07.2017 to 21.08.2017 (12.00 AM).

Eligibility Required

Candidate must be 17 years of age or above as on dt: 31. 12. 2017.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 with 40% marks from CHSE Odisha or equivalent thereof, However science is preferable.

Or

10 +2/12th with 40% marks from state open schools recognized by state Govt. and Nationa Institute of Open School recognized by Central Govt.

Or

10+2 vocational ANM course with 40% marks from the school recognized by Indian Nursing School.

Or

10 +2 Health Science vocational stream from a recognized CBSE Board/ State/ Center.

Or

Registered ANM with 10+2 pass.

5% of total mark is relaxed for SC/ ST candidates.

Must have passed Odia up to M.E. standard for all Govt. school of Nursing and 85% Govt seats in private nursing institutions recognized by INC.

Must be a domicile / permanent resident / native of Odisha but currently residing outside Odisha.( for all Govt. school of Nursing and 85% Govt seats in private nursing institution recognized by INC)

Both female / male candidates (only 10% reservation for male candidates out of total seats) are eligible to apply.

Physically handicapped having locomotor disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% only will be taken in to consideration. Candidates are advised to obtain their handicapped certificate from the competent authority of the concerned district.

Shall be medically fit for the course (Medical certificate format in annexure -VI)

Age Limit

Candidates must be 17 years of age or above as on 31.12.2017.

Application Fee

Application fee Rs 500/-. fee is to be paid by the SBI Challan attached to the prospectus. You can download the prospectus from the below given link.

HOW TO APPLY

To Apply GNM Online application, candidates have to follow the below given step by step procedure.

The candidates finding difficulty to register online can get the assistance of the Govt. facilities like CDMO (DPMU Office), Community Health Centre (CHC) & Common Service Center (CSC) at Gram Panchayat level .Service charges of Rs. 35 /-only is to be paid towards filling up of form at Common Service Centre.
