The following is the Revised Pattern of Evaluation & Distribution of Marks For H.S.C. Examination 2018 for TLS (Sanskrit).

PART - 1 
OBJECTIVE (MCQ) TYPE  - TOTAL 50 MARKS

(i) Fifteen MCQ from Prose [1x15=15
(ii) Ten MCQ from Poetry [1x10=10
(iii) For Class-X/H.S.C. Examination Twenty five MCQ from Grammar covering the topics-Karak, Vibhakti, Sandhi and Sandhi Vichheda, Samasa, Vigraha Vakya, Samasta Pada, Prakrti and Pratyaya from Prose & Poetry, Stri Pratyaya from Grammar Book [1x25=25

Total = 50
N.B.: Four probable answer to be given for each MCQ to choose correct one.

PART - 2 
SUBJECTIVE TYPE  - TOTAL 50 MARKS

Q.1. Two questions from Prose with alternative choice carrying 5 marks each to be answered in two or three Sentences. [5 x 2 = 10

Q2. Two questions from Poetry with alternative choice carrying 5 marks each to be answered in two or three Sentences. [5 x 2 = 10

Q3. Sentence formation and Translation portion of the grammar book carrying 2 marks each. [2x5 =10

Q4. Translation into Sanskrit from mother-tongue 5 sentence out of 8 sentences, carrying 2 marks each. [2x5 =10

Q.5. Comprehension: Five questions to be set form the passage carrying 2 marks each. [2x5 =10



TOTAL MARKS: PART 1 (50) + PART 2 (50) = 100 MARKS
