Odisha State Level National Talent Search Examination, National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination, 2018-2019. TE & SCERT, Odisha has inviting application for State Level National Talent Search Examination, 2018-2019 to select 118 candidates for National Level Talent Search Examination from eligible students studying in Class X in recognized schools located in the state of Odisha and 3314 number of National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (distributed among 30 districts) from the eligible students studying in Class VIII in Government / Government Aided (including Block Grant) / Local Body Schools in the state of Odisha.

Students studying in Class VIII during 2018-2019 can apply for NMMS Examination and students studying in Class X during 2018-2019 can apply for NTS Examination. State Level National Talent Search (NTS) & National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Odisha 2018-19. Candidates have to apply Online on or before the last date of filling up of Application Forms i.e. 25.08.2018.

Odisha NTS/NMMS 2018-19 Important Dates

→ Online filling up of Application Forms by the candidates - 07.08.2018 to 25.08.2018
→ Submission of hard copy of Online Application Form to the Headmasters / Headmistress by the candidates. - 31.08.2018
→ Submission of countersigned hard copies of Application Forms by the Headmasters / Headmistress to the DEOs. - 07.09.2018
→ Online Validation of Application Forms after scrutiny by District Education Officers - 17.09.2018
→ Download of Admit Cards by the Heads of Institution after - 22.10.2018
→ Despatch of Roll Sheets to the Centers by TE and SCERT - 27.10.2018
→ Date of Examination - 04.11.2018 (Sunday)




    Documents to be submitted along with the Hard copy of the Online Application Form :
    →  Caste Certificate, as applicable, for SC / ST / OBC (SEBC) candidate issued by the concerned Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar.
    →  Disability Certificate for Physically Handicapped candidates issued by the concerned District Medical Board.
    →  Parental Income Certificate from the concerned Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar
    Children of New Ration Card / BPL / Annapurna / Antordaya / Mo Kudia Yojana family can produce the supporting document.

      Odisha NMMS 2018 Important Eligibility

      →  The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks (relaxable by 5% for reserved category ) in Class VII Annual Examination its equivalent.
      →  He / she must be studying in Class VIII during the academic session, 2016-2017 in Government / Government Aided (including Block Grant) / Local Body Schools of the state .
      →  His / her parental annual income from all sources should not be more than Rs.1,50,000.00 (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand) only Students studying in Government Residential Schools like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Residential Schools under ST and SC Development Department, KGBV etc. where all expenses are paid not eligible for scholarship under the Scheme.







        NOTE: After filling up of all the points in the Online Application Form, click on SUBMIT. After clicking on submit, it will ask “Are you sure to Submit the Form”. Click on OK. After that the following will be displayed. Note down your Application Form No. Printout of the Online Application Form which you have filled up.


        After taking the Printout :
        Paste one recent Passport size photograph, Attach Caste Certificate, Attach PH Certificate, Attach Income Certificate (in case of NMMS Candidates), Submit the same in your school. The same will be forwarded by the concerned Principal /Headmaster to the concerned District Education Officer.
